Aquila Software is seeking a Junior Helpdesk Support Technician to join our IT team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of IT, the Junior Helpdesk Support Technician will support our internal teams by providing technical assistance related to all network and computer systems, hardware, software, and information systems platforms.
Specifically, the Junior Helpdesk Support Technician has the following responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and attempt to resolve user help desk tickets.
- Use remote access methods/tools in order to troubleshoot issues.
- Escalate tickets when needed.
- Prepare and setup new users and equipment (including shipping if remote from offices).
- Provide support including hardware & software installation, configuration, maintenance, and training.
- Offboard users and equipment (receiving shipped equipment if remote from offices).
- Customer service centric / willingness to help.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of experience in a related role.
- Degree in technology field or relevant certifications (CompTIA, MS, Citrix, Cisco, Amazon) or background in information systems.
- Office 365 knowledge.
- A proven aptitude for customer service.
- Keen desire to learn new tech skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to learn System Admin and Azure Cloud.
- Active Directory knowledge.
- Azure AD knowledge.
- Azure/AWS/Cloud environment knowledge.
- Basic networking knowledge.
