Job Description:

  • Define STD Packaging (design packaging and create std packaging instructions)
  • Measure packaging and create std packaging instructions (for packaging we don t want to change)
  • Build PFEP master file and PFEP.
  • Develop and improve procedures and instructions to minimize packing line setup and changeover time / cost
  • Works in compliance with GMP work practices, ISO3485, ISTA Standards.
  • Work with Packaging operations and suppliers to troubleshoot packaging issues, maintain packaging quality, and optimize packing line efficiencies
  • Participates as the team member responsible for packaging on New Product Development projects and Packaging Development projects

Skillset:

  • 5 years of relevant experience relating to Packaging/ manufacturing engineering of industrial products and their components.
  • Detailed knowledge of packaging qualification testing Experience designing packaging with variety of packaging materials
  • Strong communication skills to relate to sales, customer service, quality, operations, and supply chain.
  • Effective use of problem solving and critical thinking to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills
  • Proficient with CAD NX/Pro-E/AutoCAD Software
