The Engineering Science Division (ESD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Junior Scientist to support engineering and scientific research, development, testing, studies, and related activities onsite in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. This position is contingent on contract award.
As a Junior Scientist, you will perform studies and analyses related to the development of security technologies. You will assist in planning and execute experiments/tests as related to the science of explosives and weapons detection (physics/chemistry), including recording and analysis of data and contribute to comprehensive technical reports, data reports and other publications. Requires good communication skills and ability to write project documents with moderate supervision.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a science field (i.e., physics, chemistry) from an accredited college or university including studies in the areas of in experimental or applied science (physics, chemistry) or related field.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Requires Secret Security Clearance or higher and DHS Suitability.
