The Director, ERP is responsible for the overall administration, management & support of Aramsco’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform and other supporting business applications. This position, which plays a critical role within the IT team, is responsible for identifying/defining functional & technical requirements, configuration & testing of new solutions, supporting ongoing operations, and working with the user community to implement new ERP capabilities. The position works closely with key members within the business, application software providers, and other members of the IT team bringing forth opportunities to better leverage business software applications to support the planned growth of the business.

Position Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Responsible for system architecture, planning and all day-to-day activities for Epicor Eclipse and companion applications (Starship, Document Imaging, RF, Proof of Delivery, EDI, Avalara, Billtrust, and Worldpay). Monitors and performs actions to ensure that system capacity, utilization, availability, and application performance meets the established business requirements.
- Works with user community to define, test and implement new versions, customizations & enhancements to Eclipse and/or other companion applications.
- Develops, reviews, and approves all required project & support documents including, but not limited to, setup/installation instructions, business process flow charts, system configuration, test scripts, and system operating/maintenance procedures.
- Identifies and helps define ERP standards. Identifies vendors, products, business processes, and solutions that help solve ERP business challenges.
- Ensures that the teams help desk tickets are accepted, updated, and resolved in compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
- Communicates ERP and related application issues and status to the Aramsco user community. When required, works directly with end users and other support personnel on resolving functional and technical issues/questions.
- Manages activities related to the setup of new Eclipse user accounts and helps to ensure that users have the appropriate security access and authorizations.
- Implements and monitors operating practices to help ensure the confidentiality and security of corporate ERP data.
- Manages all ERP related activities to help quickly and seamlessly integrate newly acquired organizations into the Aramsco operations.
- Works with business counterparts to identify, document and prepare business cases. Analyzes and prepares cost estimates for proposed ERP projects. Coordinates and manages all related application installations, development, environment refresh and testing activities.
- Liaise with the user community and other IT personnel to understand the nature and trending of technical issues encountered by end users.
- Manages a team of 2-4 employees & contractors.
- Plans and organizes the activities of the team, including providing guidance, communication, and direction to personnel. Performs normal personnel functions, which may include hiring, firing, training, development, discipline and coaching.
- Develops strong partnerships and can assess and develop strategies for achieving the needs of the user community.
- Defines and manages user expectations. Matches business requirements to new or existing technologies, capabilities or services.
- Ensures that deployed systems comply with all regulatory and fiduciary policies, practices and requirements.
- Identifies and evaluates emerging technologies and opportunities that will positively affect business strategy and performance.
- Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional.
- On call for emergencies and special projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10 years’ hands on experience implementing and/or supporting Epicor Eclipse. Strong working knowledge of Eclipse operating principles, approaches, technologies, and architecture.
- Knowledge and understanding of Finance, Supply Chain and Sales & Distribution best practices.
- Experience working in a manufacturing & distribution environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team player with strong project management, organizational, planning, coordination, and implementation capabilities.
- Knowledge of the Eclipse full sales order lifecycle from the initial order/bid Entry thru picking/shipment.
- Knowledge of Eclipse accounting systems to include credit & collections, cash receipts, accounts payable and general ledger.
- Knowledge of Eclipse database and reporting systems.
- Proficient with personal computing applications (MS-Office, Project, Visio, SharePoint) and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
