About the job

Manage and develop the customer relationships for ARaymond’s current West Coast customer base. Represents the Company’s manufacturing capabilities and existing products to the customer in a professional manner. Coordinates and manages customer requirements and activities within the organization. Acts as customer representative within ARaymond North America, LLC. This position will be based out of the ARaymond California/Santa Cruz office. Candidate must be local or willing to relocate.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Assumes a direct rapport with existing C3 OEM customer base for all new business activities
  • Lead commercial and sales discovery for new customer activity within the west coast market
  • Build and execute the key account plan for three major OEMs within the region
  • Prospect new and current customer contacts to develop business funnel targeted towards ARaymond upscale products
  • Responsible for opportunity, lead generation, and project qualification
  • Coordinates and manages customer requirements within ARaymond including quoting, sample submissions (prototype & production), and engineering
  • Provides input on forecasting, budgeting, and P & L for product line to maximize production volumes
  • Identify common customer needs, building a consolidated business case to maximize production volumes
  • Increases sales as per Business Plan guidelines through contact with Purchasing and Engineering, while cultivating new accounts to grow the business
  • Target customer engineering decision makers for product placement on future targeted carlines
  • Position ARaymond production capabilities to increase content per car and total customer revenue
  • Coordinate communication between ARaymond entities and central customers’ decision centers
  • Other related duties as assigned

Education and experience

  • 7 years of direct sales / account management experience selling highly engineered products and/or 4-year university degree
  • Proven track record of steadily increasing sales year after year
  • Ability to uncover and prospect for new business activities
  • Proven track record; through awarded business, for providing application solutions for both Metal and/or Plastic core product
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and sustain a strong working relationship with customers internal and external.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrate professional conduct during stressful circumstances to meet customer expectations and deadlines
