TRAFFIC COORDINATOR

Creation of BOL/Load order paperwork for bookings

Update container placement spreadsheets while directing drivers

Direct movement of loaded containers off dock to maximize availability of open dock doors for placement of inbound empty containers

Confirm loaded containers moved off dock have been properly sealed / placed where requested

Assist Logistics Coordinator with planning container placement for inbound empties

Assist Logistics Manager with daily communication and monitoring of truck dispatch (managing / factoring in)

A. containers delivering in requested order

B. containers arriving timely

C. daily volume requests being met

Communicate with drayage dispatch regarding containers/chassis with problems (flat tires, bad landing gear, etc.)

Checking in drivers

Assigning inventory to load order paperwork

Process completed BOL/Load Order paperwork

Confirm accuracy of printed BOL/Load Orders and Packaging Instructions

Weekly reports requested by customers

Assist with confirming quantity/location of material on warehouse floor (Cycle counts)

Assist with monthly storage reports

Assist with creating SOP documents

Help organize office files and shared workstations

Office Cleaning

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role preferred
- Familiarity with trucking/logistics is a plus
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
