RN Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to oversee operations from Wednesday-Sunday. This role will be expected to cover PM shift from 3-11pm during the week and flex hours on the weekend. This role is crucial in ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with established protocols. The Weekend Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating patient care, and maintaining a high standard of service within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in healthcare or related fields. Employee will also be the lead for admissions throughout their shift that range from 1-6 per night.

Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including medication administration and infection control measures.
- Oversee the use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and ensure proper handling.
- Provide guidance on laboratory procedures and assist with suture techniques as needed.
- Support staff in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Implement occupational health protocols to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Facilitate communication among team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist in training new staff members on best practices in infant care and ophthalmology.

Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and medication administration protocols is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $43.00 - $55.00 per hour

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
