WE ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. PART-TIME AND FULL-TIME AVAILABLE.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support the doctor
- Assist doctor with pretesting of patients
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Perform visual acuity testing
- Perform non-contact tonometry and fundus photography
- Assess patients’ chief complaint
- Sell contact lenses
- Check patients in and out
- Follow strict COVID policies for the safety of patients and team members
Qualifications:
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN OPTOMETRY/OPHTHALMOLOGY IS PREFERRED
- FULLY VACCINATED PREFERRED
- MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures is mandatory
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
