Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure company policies are followed
- Control costs to optimize profits
- Hire, train, and develop new employees
- Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction
- Provide leadership and direction to all employees
- Maintain product quality and availability
- Prepare and present employee reviews
- Work closely with the store manager to lead staff
- Assist customers as needed
- Ensure health, safety, and security rules are followed
- Take disciplinary action when necessary
- Complete tasks assigned by the general manager accurately
- Maintain store standards, including stocking and cleaning
