Systems Analyst - IT

The Systems Analyst supports large Government transformation and IT programs in meeting their mission objectives and program goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on a high-performing team. Analyst supports all phases of systems lifecycle and collaborates with users and stakeholders to fulfill system and mission needs. 2-3 years of experience in information technology required.

Responsibilities may include:

• Collaborating with homeland security stakeholders and users to analyze their needs
• Developing a strong understanding of mission goals, business processes, and functional and operational requirements
• Reengineering business processes and enabling them through information technology
• Integrating solutions into homeland security environment

This role is ideal for someone with 2 years of experience who is mission-focused, has great attention to detail, and continuously likes to improve how they deliver solutions to senior clients.

Arc Aspicio is currently working a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Define business and technical requirements
• Create requirements to address governmental, policy, third-party, and stakeholder changes and requests
• Coordinate requirement discussion and traceability with development and engineering team
• Monitor and track compliance with requirements
• Support software design, documentation, testing, and maintenance
• Translate technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
• Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
• Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple workstreams at one time
• Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
• Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
• Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
• Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop 

Required Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a consulting project or related environment
• Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement (including senior-level leaders) and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
• Experience or strong interest in working in a Government, homeland security, and/or law enforcement environment
• 2 years of experience with technology stacks (e.g., JAVA, Oracle, SQL, HTTP, XML, IIS, Soap UI)
• 2 years of experience working on IT projects utilizing Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
• Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred)
• Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
• Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
• Education: Bachelor’s degree
