Designs and creates layouts and documentation for mechanical systems that meet project and technical specifications. Uses Autodesk Inventor and other specialized software tools to generate detail layout plans, schematics, and drawings for mechanical systems. Maintains accurate and complete change and version control on all design files, documents, and drawings. Incorporates best practices to address design space constraints and ensures compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and building codes. Collaborates with engineers and other project members. Conducts or participates in site visits to inspect installations and troubleshoot problems. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial design or related fields is desired but not required. Reports to a Manager. Works under close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possess an understanding of general aspects of the job. Requires 2 years of work experience.
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay:
$21.50 per hour - $25.00 per hour (Will vary depending on experience)
