Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Colourist 1, you help bring Arc’teryx product to life! You are a natural communicator and eager collaborator: you will work with various internal and external partners daily to solve colour issues related to shade, feasibility, and colourfastness. You are flexible in the face of ambiguity and committed to digging into the daily and seasonal challenges that can come up when colouring up a complex technical product. In this role you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of raw materials, raw materials quality testing and dyeing, so the opportunities for future career growth are limitless!
Meet Your Future Team:
The Colour Operations is a close-knit team of hard-working collaborators. You will have your own portfolio of lab dips to work on, but we always jump in wherever needed to support the goals of the team.
\n- Reviewing lab dips for all raw material and trims, ensuring accurate colour accuracy across a complex technical garment offering
- Finding achievable solutions to problems related to colour feasibility, metamerism, colourfastness and shade.
- Collaborating with internal partners: Colour Design, Planning, Materials, RM Quality to achieve our common goals
- Staying abreast of colour quality industry, including digital tools, dyeing technology and testing methods

- You have a degree in a related field or relevant combination of experience
- You have 3 years of experience in the apparel industry
- You are an organizational master – we review thousands of lab dips per season
- You have a hunger for knowledge and growth
- You have an understanding of design thinking and how it can apply in an operational role
