What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at ARCA?

We provide market leading cash automation technologies to customers in over 50 countries and support these devices with world-class service from our headquarters near the Research Triangle in North Carolina.
The ARCA Purchasing department is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team in Mebane, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Activities: MRP, issuing/managing PO’s and distribution orders, component pricing, safety stock, disposition of slow moving/obsolete parts, processing drop ship orders
- ERP Key User for purchasing, warehousing, receiving, shipping using basic knowledge of sales, RMA’s, production and service orders
- New part set up and new supplier set up
- Place PO & workbook orders on BranchServ, releasing line items to the warehouse and ensure they are labeled and packaged correctly
- Create referral PO’s to referral partners monthly for sales
- Create manual PO’s for supply items and/or PRF forms received from various departments
- Backup to inventory analyst responsibilities
- Assist finance with reports needed for auditors
- Responsible for weekly product availability/S&OP spreadsheet and daily orders inside leadtime spreadsheet
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience as a Buyer
- At least 3 years experience using INFOR
- At least 3 years experience with Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong negotiation, communication skills
- Excellent relationship building and management skills

Salary : $58,000 - $60,000
