Role description:
The Financial Analyst role is in the Financial Planning & Analysis team and part of the wider Accounting & Finance community. The role requires strong analytical skills to work across operations, corporate services, and the rest of the department to provide analysis, reports and insights.
Ideal candidate will be self motivated and have a high attention to detail as well as highly effective organizational and analytical skills.
Role accountabilities:
- Ensure monthly reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner;
- Continuous simplification, professionalization and improvements in the planning & reporting cycle, as well as further automation and digitalization of processes;
- Works closely with the General Accounting team and Controllers to ensure proper information flow related to forecast, plan and actuals;
- Reconciles/Investigates variances, consistency of data, mapping issues and irregularities;
- Evaluates current reports to ensure appropriate and suitable information is reported;
- Supports in the forecast and budget activities, including design of templates, consolidation and review of submitted data, error resolution and reconciliation;
- Support in data review and analysis including the design and maintenance of reports related to these analysis;
- Performs such other accounting related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or a full relevant accounting or finance qualification;
- CPA (preferred) with 5 or more years of work experience in general accounting and financial reporting;
- Proficiency or working experience in Oracle and Oracle report writing functionalities (OTBI and OAC), preferred but not required.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Excel, VBA and SQL, but also familiarity with PowerPoint, and Word)
In accordance with the Colorado, New Your City, Connecticut Equal Pay Transparency Rules: Arcadis offers benefits for full time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, STD and LTD, and Life Insurance as well as some additional optional benefits. Full time positions also come with annual PTO days and at certain levels a bonus program may apply. The Salary range for this role is $80K-124K (of our internal ranges) for Colorado based positions only. The Salary Range for this role is $93K-144K for New York City based positions only. The Salary Range for this role is $80K-132K for Connecticut based positions only. Other locations will vary in salary range.
