What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed Professional Counselor position at ARCARE?
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed Professional Counselor will provide mental health assessments, ensuring proper placement and identifying issues that complicate recovery; provide individual therapy and guidance in order to identify and address mental health issues that complicate recovery while supporting and encouraging individual mental health resource utilization. The LCSW/LPC will facilitate group therapy services for selected patients to ensure mental health issues that complicate recovery addressed with the benefit of peer support and feedback; and provide mental health information in order to educate patients, customers, and staff members regarding the dynamics of mental health issues in recovery. Qualifications: Master's Degree, Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor licensure in required state; Telehealth experience and Substance use treatment experience preferred. Experience in children and adolescent mental health services is a plus. Applicant must also be comfortable working with substance use patients and individuals on MAT.
