Arcfield is seeking a DevSecOps Software Architect to support and promulgate SW best practices and CI/CD pipelines for a customer looking to transform software and cloud environments enabling the rapid development, automated testing and delivery to operations of critical capabilities at the speed of mission. If you are interested in translating demonstrated experience in DevSecOps and software development into a SETA lead position responsible for delivery of unique differentiated capabilities, you will find this position the optimal balance of technical, corporate, and customer responsibilities.
This effort will advance the customer’s DevSecOps architecture, methodologies and implementations across multiple organizations to deliver mission capabilities in the cloud. The lead will support mission Acquisition Organizations (AOs) development using the DevSecOps environment to deliver cloud hosted solutions to new customers in a variety of approaches. The Lead will be instrumental in corporate and customer interactions, planning, organizing, executing and leading technical projects. The Lead will be instrumental cultivating new levels of effort and new areas of mission support and be able to capitalize on new technology including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML).
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, create, and present professional, customer-centric briefs, guidance, plans, and strategy to technical and leadership teams.
- Influence customer’s transformation to using cloud software development environments and ability to build and integrate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for customer capabilities
- Advance customers DevSecOps architecture, methodologies and implementations across multiple organizations.
- Support and influence mission development of new and existing mission and analytic capabilities using DevSecOps methodologies through close coordination with other technical teams and establishing relationships with new customers.
- Consult on new opportunities and provide technical subject matter expertise in IT modernization and innovation methods for customer systems
- Bachelors and 16-18 years or more experience; Masters and 14 years or more experience; PhD or JD and 10 or more experience.
- Clearance required: TS/SCI but must be able to obtain a Poly
- Experience leading Lean/Agile/DevSecOps in delivery capacities to address engineering, develop and cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing DevSecOps capabilities in both on-premises and cloud offerings using CI/CD toolsets and automation.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- API programming and software development experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with embedded security.
- Experience and current working knowledge with microservices, container-based deployments and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes Rancher, Docker).
- Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- Demonstrated written, verbal, communication, presentation, public speaking and organizational skills
- Familiar with NRO, broader IC and DOD
- Commitment to recognize, understand, respect and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority
- Knowledge of GEOINT or SIGINT software systems
- Experience with distributed High Performance Computing (HPC)
- Experience re-architecting legacy on-premise data center into cloud infrastructure
