Job Summary
An all girls Catholic High School in New York City is seeking a knowledgeable, innovative, and inspiring
science teacher to join a great team. The candidate must have a solid understanding of New York State
science standards and Regents Exams. The candidate must also partake in collaboration with other
colleagues and promote understanding and communication in a diverse learning and cultural environment.
Job Responsibilities
● Create daily lesson plans and learning activities based on New York State Standards.
● Deliver high quality and engaging instruction.
● Differentiate lessons when needed.
● Evaluate student performance on tasks and adjust the lessons when necessary.
● Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by following the procedures and policies set
forth by the school's handbook.
● Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
● Develop engaging and relevant lessons that allow the students to grow academically.
● Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences into the classroom.
Job Qualifications
