Position Summary:
We have an opening for a Maintenance position at our Lodi, CA facility.
Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for:
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations in the interest of diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
- Performs preventive maintenance duties on equipment as required and maintains an expert knowledge of equipment, operations and processes throughout the plant.
- Disassembles and diagnoses mechanical and electrical failures and performs most difficult repairs on production and facilities equipment as required.
- Installs new equipment as required, making electrical connections and aligning equipment for production use as required.
- Maintains manuals of replacement parts, equipment and maintenance requirements to facilitate emergency repairs. Maintains such files and records in an orderly manner for future reference.
- Develops knowledge of maintenance files, parts and vendors, and accesses information on the department computer as required.
- Performs welding duties as required in repairing production equipment.
- Documents time spent and parts used on projects by completing time records through use of the RCI system.
- Conducts regular inspections of production equipment and performs daily preventive maintenance duties on plant equipment.
- Maintains maintenance records of work performed and provides such to a designated location.
The requirements for this position include:
- High Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Vocational or technical training in a mechanical field or equivalent industrial work experience
- Basic knowledge of process equipment
- Knowledge of Treenut Processing Equipment
- Must have experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Metal fabrication
- Mechanical
- Machinist
- Millwright
- Good regular and prompt attendance history
- Excellent safety record and awareness
- Previous plant experience
- Bi-Lingo a PLUS
