Copywriter

We are looking for a Copywriter with 4 years of agency and/or marketing experience (agricultural experience strongly preferred) to work with a tight-knit team and diverse portfolio of agricultural clients. As a Copywriter at Archer Malmo, you will conceptualize creative concepts and approaches, challenging us to think differently and to bend the brand story to fit new spaces in agriculture.

This position can function remotely with occasional travel to our offices in Memphis, TN, and Austin, Texas.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AS A COPYWRITER:

• Understand the clients’ brand and be a champion for creativity that answers their needs and solves their challenges
• Concept, craft and deliver impactful creative ideas for both traditional and digital media
• Be adept at writing in the brand’s tone of voice for both B2C and B2B clients
• Create and present concepts internally and to clients on campaigns that meet strategic business goals
• Collaborative, with the ability to communicate in a timely and effective manner with a multidisciplinary team on all campaigns and projects
• Prioritize work effectively, keeping the team in the loop and effectively escalate roadblocks
• Work closely with the creative director to evaluate, revise and optimize the work
• Be solutions oriented

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS YOU POSSESS:

• Ability to deliver ideas and knows what to do with a great idea
• Ability to think strategically and creatively by following a creative brief
• A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to write for both B2B and B2C audiences
• Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to distill client feedback
• Proven understanding of developing channel-specific creative to cut through the clutter while keeping overall brand goals in mind
• Passion for collaborating or ideating with a partner, across disciplines or with the client to create marketing plans
• Experience presenting work to a team of colleagues and clients
• An appreciation for rural American lifestyle, technology and authenticity
• Highly motivated in a fast-paced environment and exhibiting a solid initiative
• Proven ability to manage many tasks simultaneously
