Glazier/Installer

Overview:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Glaziers to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

Duties:

· Installs glass in windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases, or on surfaces such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops.

· Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the commercial glazing field.

· Has no medically sanctioned weight limit restrictions for lifting.

· Able to read a tape measure and pass the Architectural Glass & Glazing “tape test”.

· Able to fill out daily time reports and clock in and out of time tracking software correctly.

· Basic understanding of caulking/waterproofing.

· Able to critically think and take responsibility for their own actions regardless of instruction.

· Works through the lead glazier and deals directly with them as a chain of command.

· Oversees specifically assigned projects as it pertains to all on site activities.

· Responsible for all company tools and equipment assigned to job sites.

· Deals directly with contractors on job sites when needed.

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:

· Construction experience in any field at minimum.

· Experience working within a team/crew environment in the labor industry.

· Proven experience self-managing and working toward project specific benchmarks without the need for constant oversight.

· Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
