JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the Oracle general ledger/project accounting systems for daily and monthly processes and reporting which includes system testing
- Support and participate in monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, inventory accounting transactions, inter-company accounting, fixed assets accounting
- Support the timekeeping system and monthly submission for over-time processing
- Support and participate in physical inventories, self-assessed audits and compliance testing, annual audits
- Participate in the annual planning and monthly forecasting processes
- Ownership and execution of assigned reporting
- Analysis of departmental and project spend versus forecast and performance of variance analysis
- Drive continuous improvement in assigned areas
- Financial analysis and process development for special projects, as required

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree MBA, CPA/CMA
- 2 or more years’ experience
- Background in Industrial Manufacturing and or Research and Development
