Financial Analyst

Arconic is currently in search of Financial Analyst to join our Arconic Technology Center in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain the Oracle general ledger/project accounting systems for daily and monthly processes and reporting which includes system testing
• Support and participate in monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, inventory accounting transactions, inter-company accounting, fixed assets accounting
• Support the timekeeping system and monthly submission for over-time processing
• Support and participate in physical inventories, self-assessed audits and compliance testing, annual audits
• Participate in the annual planning and monthly forecasting processes
• Ownership and execution of assigned reporting
• Analysis of departmental and project spend versus forecast and performance of variance analysis
• Drive continuous improvement in assigned areas
• Financial analysis and process development for special projects, as required

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree MBA, CPA/CMA
• 2 or more years’ experience
• Background in Industrial Manufacturing and or Research and Development
