Arcosa Construction Materials is searching for a Project Manager located in our Arlington, Texas office. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a manufacturing and mining environment that is regulated by MSHA and OSHA safety standards. As a Project Manager, you will lead cross functional project teams during acquisition and integration activities.
Arcosa Construction Materials contains multiple business units that support three product segments in the Aggregates, Specialty Materials and Construction Site Support markets.
What you'll do:
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant key stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop and manage project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
• Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
• Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in project management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Experience leading cross functional project teams and work streams.
• Must be able to interact with and influence plant personnel and other internal and external stakeholders key to the project.
• Experience with project management of acquisition and integration projects
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field or equivalent work experience
