What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yardman position at Arcosa Brand?
The duties and responsibilities of the Yardman include, but are not limited to:
General clean up and maintenance of yard and landscape areas as required, check dump for trash that can be removed before material is provided to plant;
Inspects loads; checks dump tickets for accuracy; at Sun Valley, writes dump tickets;
Keeps yard watered for dust control as needed; sweeps scale to keep it clear;
Follows all company policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by corporate management as well as the Employee Handbook;
Responsible to ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner;
Other duties/responsibilities that may be assigned by the Plant Foreman from time to time.
