What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time-Career Electrical Tech-Apprentice position at Arcosa?
provide electrical maintenance and troubleshoot to equipment and electrical systems all around our facility.
What you’ll do:
- Use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems in areas including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify production electronic components, parts, switch panels, electronic equipment and systems
- Perform high voltage electrical repairs (e.g., controls, relays)
- Make electronic, mechanical, or electrical repairs on computer controlled equipment
- Perform PLC and/or CNC programming
- Troubleshoot electronically controlled production equipment
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- 1 or more years of related high voltage (3 Phase 480V or higher) electrical experience
- Understands principles of electricity/electrical control and understands general electrical schematics
- Fully capable of trouble shooting and testing all electrical applications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
Salary : $39,200 - $49,700
