What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Engineer – NY, NJ, CT, or DE Remote position at Arcserve?
This role can be located remotely in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Delaware (Tri-State)
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Create and perform technical presentations and product demos establishing how the Arcserve products meet the customer requirements while answering technical questions and providing advice for potential and current clients
- Lead proof of concept deployments alongside new clients in person and remote
- Participate and represent Arcserve at tradeshows and professional services training forums
- Engage with Product Management to discuss real time feedback on market and product trends
- Analyze enhancement requests and requirements from partners and being a conduit of requests to Arcserve’s Product Management and Engineering Teams
- Regular technical trainings, both local and remotely for our internal teams
- Collaborate with Arcserve channel teams to expand channel presence and customer relationships
- Develop a solid understanding of Arcserve products and stay up to speed on industry trends, competitive developments, and internal portfolio developments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience to meet the essential functions of the position
- Three (3) plus years of experience in a technology, sales engineer, software or technical engineering role or related
- Knowledge/Experiences with IT Infrastructure: Data Protection, Security, Storage
