Key Responsibilities:
This position supervises and participates in the pricing function while assisting with month end close, financial analysis, reporting, and planning & budgeting activities.
Responsible for calculating and managing the natural gas and freight surcharge programs for the customer base.
Manage the cost pass through and off invoice allowance functions as they pertain to sales and contract provisions that affect pricing.
Support the development of pricing margin analysis and pricing implementation.
Develop budget pricing including inflators and discounts as well as reports and programs to facilitate the business of the department.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Work with IT to develop and test program changes.
Requirements:
Ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or related discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
An MBA and experience and knowledge of the glass container industry is desirable.
Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system a plus.
Ability to solve problems, make and carryout decisions as well as analyze data.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
