We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Student Nurse Apprentice to join our team!
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
The Student Nurse Apprentice, under the direction of a Registered or Licensed Nurse, performs basic patient care activities and related services in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be able to:
- Provides patient care under the direction of a Registered or Licensed Nurse.
- Reports observations regarding patient condition/changes to the Registered or Licensed Nurse in a timely manner.
- Collects patient data under the direction of the RN or LPN and according to unit policy.
- Documents patient information and patient care given consistent with hospital and unit standards.
- Performs only those functions approved by the Idaho Board of Nursing and does not exceed the Board-approved scope of practice and the hospital Nurse Extern Program.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Student Nurse Certificate in the State of Idaho required
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN Nursing program required
- Current BLS certification required
