Description
The IT Project Manager (ITPM) is responsible for supporting core IS/IT organizational functions. The ITPM will perform IS/IT project management, Manage the EHR system migration, and conduct applicable trainings. The ITPM will engage with external vendors to provide technical solutions required for the achievement of business goals and initiatives.
Duties Include:
- Manage projects from inception through implementation. Gather system requirements, obtaining data/resources, analyze findings, develop and execute case testing, evaluate systems performance, communicating business options and/or solutions.
- Perform administrator functions for the Electronic Health Record software applications. Assigns tasks related to EHR to data analyst.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve software problems. Identify potential risks and connections between applications, systems impact, and provide recommendations for resolution. Procure technical assistance as needed to help with complex software issues. Evaluate and utilize performance metrics to meet department and organizational goals.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, Informatics or equivalent. Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-2years of recent experience in computer sciences, Software IS/IT project management, or analyst in a healthcare environment; 3-5years preferred.
- Advanced computer proficiency; MS Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, Access, Data analysis, SQL, MS Azure, Smartsheet, and Visio.
Working knowledge of:
- cloud development, scripting language, and database design.
- methods used in systems analysis and design, including data architecture and data management.
- administrative practices and techniques with an emphasis on the use of electronic data processing systems in a mid-sized organization.
- principles, practices, and procedures used in the development and implementation of information systems, particularly as they apply to the integration of diverse systems.
- development and application of electronic data processing systems to records management, work measurement and work simplification.
- HIPAA regulations as they apply to information systems.
Ability to:
- plan, organize and direct the work of outside consultants and/or programming staff assigned to a specific project.
- develop and implement procedures to support the use of new software/systems.
- determine the feasibility and application of new systems to existing departmental operations.
- exercise excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
