Adult Education Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Adult Education Administrator to LEAD our Apprenticeship team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating adults and creating engaging learning experiences. As an Adult Education Administrator, you will be responsible for program maintenance, evaluation and oversight of our instructors and support staff to meet the diverse needs of adult learners.

Responsibilities:

• Program Maintenance: Ensuring that academic policies and curriculum are followed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards governing vocational education programs, maintaining accurate records and documentation for reporting purposes. Meeting with the Apprenticeship Committee and Trust regularly for problem resolution, direction, and feedback on the program.
• Program Evaluation: Regularly assess program effectiveness, student learning outcomes, and instructional practices implementing necessary improvements.
• Instructional Leadership: Supervise and help teachers maximize their teaching potential.
• Student Support Services: Develop and implement student support services, including academic advising, tutoring, and career counseling, to promote student success, retention, and completion of apprenticeship programs.
• Community Engagement - Appropriately maintain a consistent and engaging social media presence
• Industry Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with industry partners, employers, and professional organizations to stay abreast of industry trends, foster collaboration, and facilitate work-based learning opportunities for students.
• Other duties as required include HR issues, safety, protocols, guidelines, negotiating, facilities related issues, work-flow, record-keeping of all kinds, legalities of all kinds, employee relations, and influence and networking strategies.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in education with at least 5 years in a leadership role is preferred.
• Communication skills to develop a productive educational experience for both teachers and students
• Problem solving skills to enhance instructor performance and improve student grades
• Valid instructor license
• Being bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
