Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor conducts periodic inspection and maintenance of kitchen equipment and performs basic heating, refrigeration, HVAC, welding, plumbing, and electrical and other carpentry work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Checks the efficiency of the equipment by conducting inspections on a daily basis.
- Identifies the problem areas and looks for appropriate solutions.
- Performs basic heating, refrigeration, HVAC, welding, plumbing, and electrical and other carpentry work.
- Complies with safety norms related to the equipment with efficient tools and in the allotted budget.
- Works in a safe manner using proper tools meeting OSHA requirement.
- Maintains inventory at the correct levels and keeps accounting system to prevent theft.
- Report to the General Manager the need of any tools for repairing and maintenance.
- General maintenance of the irrigation systems and surrounding areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate fluently in English language (read, understand, speak and write).
- Basic knowledge of the heating, refrigeration, welding, plumbing and other electrical and carpentry work.
- Must have experience using hand tools including all related to plumbing, electricity and general kitchen equipment maintenance, like snake drills, hammers, screw drivers, saws, etc.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a maintenance position.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, sit and stand regularly and on a daily basis.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb ladders to reach roof top.
- Ability to use high lift.
- Must be available to work any schedule, any shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- High school diploma.
Physical Demands:
- Work is generally performed in a variety of environments: Office, interior, operational settings, and outdoors, with frequent interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. Frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required. May be exposed to extreme temperatures, close quarters situations, high and precarious places. Frequently required to travel between plazas.
