Shipping/Receiving Clerk (FT)

A manufacturing company is seeking Shipping/Receiving Clerks to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Job Duties:

  • Pull parts out of stock, process customer orders accurately, and pack orders for shipments
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Take product off conveyor and prepare for shipment and maintains overstock locations as appropriate
  • Report all problems involving damage to storage racks, equipment, or stored product
  • Pick-up products for customer orders
  • Assist with maintaining product labels on the storage racks 
  • Learns and utilizes MIE system and enter data on product as required
  • Perform shipping clerical and other duties as needed
Job Qualifications:

  • Must have previous shipping/receiving experience
  • Must be able to pass a shipping test and, at least, meet the picking standards
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and push or pull up to 150 pounds
  • Must be able to count parts, and accurately read part numbers and a tape measure
  • Must be able to learn the system and use scanners
  • Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and have work boots
