We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to minimize or eliminate lost production time due to equipment or building failures and provide assistance needed in promoting a safe and pleasant work environment. You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to minimize or eliminate lost production time due to equipment or building failures and provide assistance needed in promoting a safe and pleasant work environment. You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled machine maintenance; cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing worn-out parts
- Provide immediate assistance for all machine repair emergencies
- Perform non-emergency machine repair by replacing or rebuilding broken or worn-out parts
- Fabricate new parts and assemblies which will improve machine operation and be cost-effective
- Provide general building, forklift, and thermal oxidizer maintenance and repair
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of the set-up and operation of Drill Press, Milling, Band Saw, Lathe Machines
- Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to identify causes of failure, dismantle machines, make repairs, re-assembly machines, and make necessary adjustments
- Must have Carpentry experience, use of woodworking tools, pipe-fitting, soldering, basic electric circuits for AC/DC power, and the use of testing instruments
- Must be safety-conscious and detail-oriented
