The role requires the ability to manage classroom environments, guide students through project-based learning, and adapt lessons to suit various age groups and skill levels.

Arena STEM Center is a leading provider of educational enrichment programs and technical entertainment for children and young adults, offering engaging and interactive experiences that combine education and entertainment with a particular focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. We offer a variety of activities, including both during-school and after-school programs, as well as summer camps and workshops. These programs aim to foster participants’ curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity while providing hands-on learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and lead hands-on STEM activities, including programming, robotics, 3D design, and engineering.
- Guide students in using tools and technologies such as Scratch, CAD software, and robotics kits.
- Manage classroom logistics, ensuring safety and engagement during activities.
- Adapt lesson plans to fit the needs of diverse learners and skill levels.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative classroom environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Relevant experience in one or more STEM fields such as programming, 3D design, or robotics.
- Familiarity with a range of tools and technologies, including:
- Programming platforms like Scratch or VS Code
- CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- 3D printers and slicing software (Cura, Creality)
- Robotics platforms (LEGO, VEX, DJI)
- Microcontrollers (e.g., Micro Bit, Arduino)
- Drones (DJI Tello, RoboMaster)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students with different learning styles.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
