We are currently seeking an experienced Aruba SD-WAN Engineer to join our IT Professional Services team for a remote contract.
*** Please note, we will only speak with and or interview candidates that have previously deployed or configured Aruba's SDWAN solution.
Project Overview:
The proposed solution will provide an Aruba Software Defined WAN using EdgeConnect, Campus Lan and Mobility infrastructure, as well as ClearPass network access control for wireless security. The SD-WAN solution is intended to cover two (2) hub data center locations. A large portion of effort for this solution is designing and building out infrastructure at Hub Data Centers to support additional sites going forward and will not need to be completed again to add more remote sites.

- Hours: Full-time tapering to part time flexible hours

Key Responsibilities:
Campus Wired & Mobility − Wired:
- Review any Discover provided documentation and diagrams (if applicable)
- Discuss and assess the current network architecture and design
- Discuss and assess the layer 1 network configuration and design
- Discuss and assess the layer 2 network configuration and design
- Discuss and assess the layer 3 network configuration and design
- Discuss and assess inter campus traffic flow
- Create an ATP Document that includes the use cases and pass/fail criteria
- Add Aruba CX switches to Aruba Central
- MDF: − Develop switch configurations for each MDF based on LLD
- Create change documentation for each MDF cut (u) Create MOP (v) Create ATP
- Install new core switches, Engineer to review remotely
- Verify Aruba Central connectivity
- Discover Responsibility (w) Install modules and SFPs (Discover)
- Review cut window for GO\NO-GO window
- IDF: − Develop switch configurations for each IDF based on LLD
- Provide/Provision the switch base configurations to Discover, and or to Aruba Central for deployment to final switches
- Verify switch configurations and proper switch operations
- Create change documentation for each IDF cut (bb) Create MOP (cc) Create ATP
- Install new switches, Engineer to review remotely − Verify Aruba Central connectivity
