Meet the team:
The People Analytics & Automation team at Argo is looking for a Sr./Staff People Research Analyst, Recruiting to join our team! We are seeking someone who is passionate about helping business partners make decisions with data. The ideal candidate is someone who can seek out workforce data needed to answer business questions and then apply a repeatable data science toolkit to provide strategic insight and value across our entire global organization. This role will have an initial emphasis on supporting our recruiting organization with insights that help managers, leaders, and the recruiting team understand, optimize, and enhance the recruiting process.
What you’ll do:
- Support requests from People team and cross-functional partners, including requirements gathering, development, testing, roll out and presentation of informative insights and analysis
- Create data-driven insights that drive action and make data-informed business recommendations to influence the People strategy at Argo
- Partner with leads across the People Operations team to understand short and long-term functional goals and implement means of quantitatively measuring these goals
- Work closely with partner organizations to deliver insights through flexible and self-service dashboards and reports
- Partner closely with our People Process Optimization, People Technology & Automation, and People Data Foundation sub-functions to request and create necessary workforce data pipelines for analysis
- Contribute to and ensure an environment of data-informed decision-making within the organization
- Educate and consult within the People team to upskill the organization on best practices
What you'll need to succeed:
- 4 years of experience across People Analytics, Workforce Analytics, HR Analytics, Recruiting Analytics, or Talent Analytics teams
- Accurately and efficiently manage and analyze complex sets of sensitive and confidential data
- Perform repeatable data science and data manipulation in Python (or equivalent data oriented coding language w/ interest to learn Python)
- Excellent with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel; including advanced formulas and functions
- Ability to identify trends and insights from data and then develop insightful actionable recommendations for cross functional partners
- Strong sense of judgment and discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information
- Self-starter with strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, complex and scaling environment
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, data visualization and presentation skills
Nice to haves:
- Experience supporting recruiting organizations with data-driven decision making
- Experience with People Analytics platforms such as Visier and One Model
- Experience with Looker
- Experience with Greenhouse (ATS)
- Experience in Tech industry and/or start-up environment
