About You
- You have 20 years of design experience and 10 as a Creative Director within the world of digital design. You have an extensive background in either visual design, interaction design or research and strategy, but you fluently manage accounts and client relationships with complex UI and business challenges as well.
- You are curious, collaborative, and love a start-up environment. You’re a problem solver with an instinct to think through things by making. A craftsperson at heart, you retain the ability to be hands-on when needed while coaching a small team toward the pinnacle of design product excellence.
- You use design to meet business goals and your portfolio showcases your expertise and point-of-view across a range of industries, audiences, platforms, and media in design consulting.
- You transform ambiguous requests into tight project briefs and manage programs from start to finish, for potential clients interested in starting a relationship as well as existing clients looking to build an account at argo.
- You have a sense of the forest and the trees. You reconcile conflicting agendas, opinions, and feedback working with a program manager to clear a path to bring an idea to market while ensuring your team stays healthy, motivated, and proud of their work.
- You’re good with people and develop respectful, trusted relationships with the clients you consult and the designers you mentor. Your empathy and emotional intelligence help you inspire, encourage, and reassure, but you know when to step out of the spotlight to let others present their work and share the collective vision.
- You are passionate about design and seek to expand your knowledge and grow your skills; even though you’ve been doing this for years, you strive to be better. And you give back to the field of design through thought leadership, education, or other industry activities.
- You’re engaged in your community and inspired by the world around you. Your life is filled with vibrant and diverse experiences that make you, you.
- If this sounds like a good fit, please introduce yourself.
