Responsibilities:

Front Office:

· Welcome patients warmly, manage intake forms, and efficiently schedule appointments.

· Navigate full-cycle patient registration, including insurance verification, eligibility checks, fee communication, and payment collection.

· Proficient in authorizations and referrals.

Back Office:

· Escort patients to exam rooms, conduct preliminary physical tests, and record vital signs.

· Assist providers with patient education, ensuring a comprehensive and caring approach.

· Manage patient and lab charges for streamlined billing processes.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Completion of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program.

· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

· CPR certification.

Skills and Abilities:

· Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

· Proficient in medical terminology, medications, and injection procedures.

· Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, and management.

· Demonstrated empathy and a commitment to treating all patients with kindness and consideration.

· Thorough understanding of HIPAA requirements for maintaining patient confidentiality.

Experience:

· 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Schedule:

· Day shifts only no weekends.

· Per diem and part-time positions available.

· On-call and rotating shift opportunities.

Work Environment:

Clinic setting, providing in-person office support.
