Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with staff to produce schematic/design development packages that meet client expectations
- Assists in the research, pricing, and selection of products and materials to sufficiently convey the design concept
- Assists the senior design staff in purchasing products and materials when contracted by clients
- Develops understanding of design intent and translates the concepts into design details and presentation under the supervision of senior staff
- Develops an understanding of finish budgets and material costs
- Maintain design materials within the studio/library; purges unused or outdated materials and finishes
- Learns and implements the processes and standards established by Aria Group Architects, Inc.
- Continues education to increase knowledge of material selection and design trends
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Architectural or Interior Design
- 0-3 years of experience
- Experience in hospitality architecture is a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2017, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat
- Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Illustrator
