Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Your expertise and precision will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely results for patient care.
Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to: specimen collection processing, RNA extraction, ELISA assays, and clinical trials.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Analyze test results and ensure accuracy and quality control.
- Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide recommendations for patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in laboratory technology, techniques, and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with laboratory management tasks as needed.
Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry, result retrieval, and report generation.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and the principles of clinical laboratory testing.
- Experience with various laboratory techniques, including specimen collection processing, RNA extraction, ELISA assays, etc.
- Familiarity with clinical trials processes and requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test results accurately.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and work independently or as part of a team.
