The Arizona Department of Revenue is looking for two talented individuals to join our team as Senior Oracle Applications Developers! These roles are responsible for application analysis, development, and support for Oracle-based applications such as Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, and for the development of database objects including tables, sequences, triggers, etc.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Develop new applications or functionality to meet defined requirements and technical designs related to legislative projects, enhancement requests, or bugs
-Support production systems and engage with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and contribute to the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)
-Develop and/or create deliverables according to the Software Development Life Cycle, such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation
-Assist in the training of new and/or junior developers
Knowledge of:
-Multiple programming languages, database management systems, and development platforms
-Oracle Forms, Reports, PL SQL, and Microsoft Visual Studio
-Release and configuration management
-Fundamentals of objects oriented and service software design principles
Skilled in:
-Active listening to meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders
-Interpersonal, written, and oral communication
-Designing and developing highly complex n-tier solutions
-Creating database objects (i.e. tables, columns, stored procedures, relationships, and views)
-Developing and writing technical documentation
Ability to:
-Balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
-Work collaboratively in teams and across organizations
-Synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly
-Build strong relationships inside and outside of the organization
-Apply create solutions to business problems
-Learn and apply LEAN concepts, principles, and tools
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
-REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
-PREFERENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, specifically
-PREFERENCE: Experience in UNIX/Linux shell scripting
The final candidate will be required to abide by the the following pre-employment checks:
