Job Summary:

The Project Manager position is responsible for planning, leading, executing, and closing integral company-wide projects ensuring that completion is on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will be highly collaborative with department leaders and key stakeholders in order to communicate project goals, objectives, and monitor progress to ensure successful delivery of the projects at hand.

Essential job functions/duties:

• Manage 30-50 projects at a time.
• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
• Monitor project progress and pivot as necessary to ensure successful project delivery (within scope, timeline, and budget).
• Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
• Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
• Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations; conduct regular quality assessments and implement improvements as necessary.
• Monitor project budget and expenditures; control costs and optimize resource utilization per project.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records pertaining to the assigned projects.
• Build and maintain a standard set of artifacts for each project.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage project coordinators under team.
• Conduct timely evaluations and check-ins with team members.
• Hire and train new team members under the project management team.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities required:

• At least seven (7) year's experience as a project manager handling multiple, high-level projects for mid-size to large companies.
• Budget building and management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Previous experience working with project management software such as BirdView or similar software required.
• Familiar with office equipment: printer, scanner, copier, laptop, etc.
• Ability to build reports in a presentable manner from raw data.
• Ability to create professional, cohesive, and effective presentations for internal and external use.
• Ability to work flexible schedule as needed to ensure project completion in a timely manner.
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance time and multiple tasks, projects, and deliverables to ensure execution in a timely manner.
• Meticulous attention to budgetary plans, details, and deadlines.
• Experience with budget management and expenses preferred.

Travel requirements:

• Some interoffice travel may be required with use of company vehicle or mileage reimbursement

Education, credentials, and/or trainings required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Project Management Professional certification (PMP) highly preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing required
