Purpose of the position:
The purpose of the facilities maintenance employee is to maintain the facilities, while sustaining a safe work environment. This position requires mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn the skills of the trade, with a basic knowledge in one or more of the following: electrical, plumbing, construction.
Essential Functions:
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Carryout basic facilities repairs.
Identify safety issues and report them to the Facilities Manager.
Adhere to safety procedures.
Handing all aspects of trash removal.
Lodge snow removal
Maintain an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest services.
Be willing to take on reasonable tasks and duties as assigned for the success of companywide operations.
Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current driver’s license.
Safe driving record.
Competencies Required:
A basic knowledge of Facilities maintenance.
Professional communication skills.
Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
Ability to solve problems and take direction.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Possess internal drive and motivation.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and create a fun, professional work environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. without assistance.
Must be able to lift arms overhead.
Position involves bending, twisting, stooping repeatedly throughout the workday.
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs without assistance.
Must be able to walk from building to building.
