The primary role of the Research Advancement Admin. Principal is to provide direct support to research investigators within the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning (SGSUP) within The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (The College). The RAA Principal will support in the area of proposal preparation and submission and serve as a liaison across campus between colleges, schools, departments and principal investigators in their interactions with the Office of Research and Sponsored Project Administration (ORSPA), as well as assisting with higher level post-award functions. As a professional level representative, this role is positioned to have a supervisory & leadership responsibility within the unit as well as mentoring collaboration. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Seven years’ experience in any combination of the following areas: proposal submissions, contract negotiation, grant and contract administration and financial administration, OR Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been achieved.
