What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Director position at Arizona Tile?
We are currently seeking a Accounting Director to be based in our Tempe location (SE corner of Warner & Priest). In this position, you will work closely with the VP Finance to be responsible for areas relating to financial reporting. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including account reconciliations/general ledger preparation, auditing, financial reporting, tax issues, insurance and the support of budget and forecast activities. Additionally, the position is responsible for the supervision of the Accounting/Credit departments.
CPA preferred
Strong Accounting Background - 5-12 yrs experience
Problem solver - decision maker

Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
Epicor's Prophet 21 software experience a plus
Strong/advanced Computer Skills, including:
- Strong Excel Skills
- Knowledge of Sequel, preferred

- Report Writer, preferred
Budgeting Knowledge
- Satori Budgeting Experience a plus
