  • Lead the development of financial strategies for the University Information Technology Services department that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
  • Manage the most complex, large, or difficult analysis projects; evaluate findings, prepare reports and make recommendations to UITS Executive Leadership about the financial implications of proposed investments and transactions.
  • Monitor the division's actual performance against budget, financial targets, and other compliance and achievement metrics.
  • Establish and coordinate the budgeting systems and procedures; compile, monitor, and analyze a consolidated annual budget plan; and monitor actual performance against budget, identify and analyze variations.
  • Direct the UITS Financial Business Office and its contributions to the success of departmental strategic goals by providing guidance to UITS Financial Business Partners on best practices for utilization of UA systems to create and advance dashboards for strategic planning, forecasting and leadership decision prioritization.
  • Manage the procurement, contracting, and compliance of the division’s $20M software portfolio.
  • Coordinate and oversee the response process to Educause Core Data Service external reporting.
  • Provide guidance and direction to UIT Senior Leadership Sub-committees; Managing Resources Committee and Building Management Review Team.
  • Serve as finance liaison between Office of the CIO, campus, and University affiliates.
  • Positively impact UITS’ operations and culture.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
