Description of duties to include but not limited to the following:  

  • Follow the prep list created by the kitchen manager.
  • Follow and execute any recipes using proper ingredients, methods, and measuring tools.   
  • Label and stock all products on shelves as appropriate so they can be easily accessible and organized.  
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing products as needed to ensure they are fresh and meet all food safety standards.  
  • Undertake basic cooking duties as instructed (baking, sauteing, roasting, etc.).  
  • Maintain a clean workstation as to efficiently and safely execute all job functions.
  • Ensure all food and other items are properly stored, dated, and labeled appropriately.   
  • Follow all nutrition and sanitation guidelines.  
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
  • Attend any department and / or food safety / alcohol safety meetings to keep compliance with company policies.
