Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. This role is essential in ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and driving occupancy rates.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination.
- Utilize Yardi software for efficient data entry, record keeping, and reporting.
- Handle customer service inquiries with professionalism and effective phone etiquette.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and maximize occupancy rates through upselling techniques.
- Maintain knowledge of laws related to property management, including LIHTC regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing rental properties is a plus.
- Experience in sales or marketing within the real estate sector is beneficial.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently while managing multiple tasks.
