Position Summary :
The Administrative Support Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of support level personnel within an assigned department or program.
This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy
Duties & Responsibilities :
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Knowledge of student financial aid programs, standards, and procedures
Knowledge of operating procedures for technical equipment standard within the job
Knowledge of department operations, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Knowledge of computers and software applications
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Products
Ability to review and evaluate student financial needs
Ability to maintain records
Ability to supervise employees
Ability to conduct research and perform basic quantitative quality assurance reviews
Ability to resolve operational problems
Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports to the supervisor
Familiarity with SCT Banner Products
General Days / Hours :
Monday - Friday
8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and / or needed
Some travel required for training and / or conferences
Regular and reliable attendance
Other :

Minimum Qualifications :
The formal education of a High School Diploma
One (1) year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field
Three (3) years of experience in administrative support, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity
Other job related education and / or experience may be substituted for all or parts of these basic requirements upon approval of the qualifications review committee
