The duties and responsibilities of a banquet facility manager center on efficiently managing a multi room banquet facility and executing events of varying sizes and purposes. Managers have to understand what it takes to make sure the facility is in order and ensure that the event itself is carried out smoothly. Here are the most essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Scheduling facility maintenance
  • Working with the coordinators and team members to ensure excellent event execution
  • Managing events and addressing potential problems that may arise
  • Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the events
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
  • Liquor inventory maintenance

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in event coordinating and management
  • Degree in management, hospitality management or public relations preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of Word, Adobe Acrobat and Excel
  • Customer service oriented attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
