Description
The Technical Documentation Specialist will support the Technical Service, Product Development, and Production teams with documentation, data collection and organization.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Support the product development process by creating batch records, inputting blend instructions, running parameters, and packaging for powders and capsules;
Creating, routing, and documenting change control forms;
Managing SOC Documentation and updates;
Managing updates to Blending Instructions;
Generating validation protocols and reports;
Maintaining and organizing data generated from production, R&D, and other sources;
Develop and manage cleaning matrices, updates and new product additions;
Support documentation throughout the product development process;
Follows cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
Requirements
Minimum High School Education or equivalent;
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required;
A proactive, independent worker able to complete tasks with minimal supervision;
Possesses analytical skills with demonstrated technical competence and initiative;
Basic knowledge of lab techniques and practices;
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication;
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute in a team setting;
Knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software;
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.;
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time;
Must be able to wear any required PPE such as scrubs, hair net, lab coat, and facemask;
Other physical requirements include moderate standing and occasional squatting, bending, and twisting;
Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas;
Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours;
Work environment is normally in an office setting. Must be able to make frequent rounds in a warehouse environment;
Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.
